Conesus Lake Thermocline Data - Station 1
A string of digital thermometers submerged at different depths in Conesus Lake to detect changes in the thermocline level. Actual depths will be vary as the lake level changes. The surface at the time of installation was at 818.40 feet above sea level. The sensor depths (in feet) at that time were: t19 - 14.5, t18 - 16.0, t17 - 17.6, t16 - 19.2, t15 - 20.8, t14 - 22.4, t13 - 24.1, t12 - 25.7, t11 - 27.3, t10 - 28.9, t9 - 30.6, t8 - 32.2, t7 - 33.9, t6 - 35.5, t5 - 35.5, t4 - 35.5, t3 - 35.5, t2 - 35.5, t1 - 35.5, Anchor/bottom - 38.0. Note that t1-t6 are all clustered at the same level to reduce the overall length of the string and keep the top well below the surface.
